The carbon industry is an important new-energy raw-material sector in China, and carbon products are widely used in numerous fields such as metallurgy, chemical engineering, aviation, aerospace, and nuclear energy. Considering the company's long-term development, ASAHI Technology has adopted a strategy driven by technological innovation to promote sustainable corporate growth. The company has invested over 20 million yuan to introduce advanced laboratory equipment and establish an independent R&D center, dedicated to producing China's highest-quality ultra-high-power graphite electrodes. ASAHI Technology aims to catch up with and surpass the standards of developed countries such as Europe, the United States, and Japan, thereby building a truly national Chinese brand. At the same time, the company is actively engaged in the R&D of cutting-edge carbon products, including fullerene carbon, nano-carbon, and graphene. By fully leveraging its technological strengths, ASAHI Technology is creating broader market prospects and driving the overall development of China's carbon industry.
Recommended torque values for connecting graphite electrodes through threaded pins (nipples). Following these values keeps joints tight under thermal cycling and minimizes the risk of electrode breakage during EAF operation.

Always use a calibrated torque wrench and an electrode lifting bail. Apply joint compound only to the pin's leading thread.
Our electrodes are packaged on wooden pallets and secured with steel straps. The threads and end faces are protected by protective covers to minimize the risk of damage to these areas. The attached table shows the number of electrodes packed per pallet for each specification.
When using container transport, each 20-foot container can carry electrodes of various specifications, along with the corresponding number of connectors as shown below:

Raw materials and feedstock for graphite production — the same inputs we use in our own electrode and powder manufacturing, available to industrial buyers worldwide.
Anode-grade calcined petroleum coke (CPC) used as a primary carbon source in graphite electrode and anode paste production. Low sulphur, low metals, high fixed carbon — sourced and calcined to electrode-grade specifications.
Anode-grade calcined petroleum coke (CPC) used as a primary carbon source in graphite electrode and anode paste production. Calcined at 1,200–1,400 °C to drive off volatiles, deliver high fixed carbon and the porosity required for impregnation and graphitisation.
Fixed carbon: ≥ 98.5 % · Sulphur: ≤ 0.7 % · Ash: ≤ 0.5 % · Real density: ≥ 2.06 g/cm³
Available in standard granulometries (0–5 mm, 5–25 mm) and custom screen cuts on request. Ships in 1,000 kg bigbags or break-bulk on request.
Highly crystalline needle coke — the flagship feedstock for Ultra-High Power (UHP) graphite electrodes. Anisotropic, low CTE, low sulphur — engineered for electrodes running the most demanding electric arc furnace duties.
Highly crystalline needle coke is the flagship feedstock for Ultra-High Power (UHP) graphite electrodes. Its anisotropic, lamellar structure gives finished electrodes the low thermal expansion and high electrical conductivity required by the most demanding electric arc furnace duties.
Fixed carbon: ≥ 99.0 % · Sulphur: ≤ 0.5 % · Ash: ≤ 0.2 % · CTE (a-axis): ≤ 1.0 × 10⁻⁶ /°C
Both petroleum-derived and coal-tar-derived needle coke available. Ships in 1,000 kg bigbags with full COA, MTR and origin documentation.

Our team works directly with your metallurgists and procurement to specify the right grade, optimise consumption, and resolve operational issues — drawing on both our Chinese R&D centre and Sojitz Ject's Japanese engineering network.
Our electrodes are packaged on wooden pallets and secured with steel straps. The threads and end faces are protected by protective covers to minimize the risk of damage to these critical areas. When using container transport, each 20-foot container can carry electrodes of various specifications along with the corresponding number of connectors, as shown below.
